InkodersFrom Hackathon Champions to Visionaries: The Journey of Inkoders' Founders
Discover how the founders of Inkoders leveraged international competition success and a shared passion for AI to become a driving force in the digital era.
With our founders — Kaden, Chace and Tara's unyielding passion towards knowledge and growth, they actively attended demanding competitions locally and even internationally. They each took part in competitions challenging different abilities, and each of them found immense success. Kaden swarms himself with hackathons and business competitions like HKUST, Fintech, etc. establishing his outstanding profile as a global hackathon champion, becoming champion in more than 10 hackathons up to now. For Chace, he participated in Robotics competitions managing complex codes of machines, even representing and leading the Robotics team for Hong Kong, China in the First Global Challenge. Tara achieved the champion title in senior debate for the World Scholar's Cup, and simultaneously achieved great results for English solo verse competitions in Hong Kong.
These invaluable experiences fueled their logical thinking and communication skills, which developed into leadership skills, expanding their influence towards the local community, inspiring young believers who dream big and want to make a difference in the current society. Even with the diverse interests shown by our founders, they distinctly share a common ideology of holding sincere passion for maximizing the potential of AI and embracing this current digital era.
Collectively, their most impressive achievement together is undoubtedly the Tencent Cloud Hackathon Finals, in which they are actively competing against adults and professionals, with 10,122 participants, 42 teams in global finals, and them being the only student team. Against all odds, they thrived, placing 1st worldwide and being awarded more than HKD55,000. They began their journey after winning the Agent Creativity Tencent Hackathon (Hong Kong Round), which led them to advance for the global finals.
About the author
Curriculum & Institutional Affairs Officer
Through Inkoders, I would like to embrace myself with knowledge to adapt to this competitive society. I joined striving for development in communication, leadership, and ability to work with others effectively, therefore further achieving my potential as a diligent thinker socially or academically. More importantly, the importance of AI is expanding tremendously, making it essential for everyone. Through this organisation, I would not only better understand its nature and usage, but also develop as a more confident and interesting speaker advocating others to embrace in technology through the immense opportunities. Lastly, I would want to utilise this organisation to open my door for more competitions in order to gain more experience for my growth. Leader or follower, experiences fuels human nature which is why I joined Inkoders. Processes of thinking is what interests me the most, not the product itself. I've joined countless amount of competitions from placing well in hackathons to winning Inno Makethon and Fintech competitions, and even going internationally. I would continue to hold a positive and hardworking attitude towards future experiences and treat every task that I encounter seriously, not wasting my past. I always enjoy combining words with knowledge and pursuade others however I can from promoting a product to expressing the significance of social problems. For hobbies, I enjoy playing football although my skills are still in development and walk through local places alone in order to connect to the outside world instead of staying at home. I'm also largely interested of history and politics.
