About Us
Inkoders is a youth-led social enterprise in Hong Kong. We help people build the technological and foundational literacy they need to participate confidently in a changing world.
Why we exist
Technology changes how we learn, work and connect. Yet the ability to read deeply, think clearly and keep learning remains just as important. Inkoders exists to bring these two needs together, so progress in one does not come at the expense of the other.
What we do
Our work takes shape through conversations, public events, learning experiences and the development of our own team. Each initiative has a different format, but all of them make knowledge more approachable and create room for people to learn from one another.
Our name
“Ink” represents foundational literacy: reading, language and the lasting value of ideas recorded and shared. “Koders” points to technological literacy: the ability to understand, create with and participate in the tools shaping our future. Together, Inkoders names the bridge between our two pillars.
Our mark
The two sides of our logo stretch in opposite directions to represent our two literacy pillars expanding outward together. Its four stripes represent the four main initiatives through which we do our work: Events, Podcast, Newsletter and Professional Development.
Youth-led by design
Being youth-led means young people take responsibility for shaping the work, learning through doing and building with the communities around them. It keeps Inkoders curious, responsive and grounded in the realities our generation is navigating now.
